New City volunteer firefighter Will McCue, whose hands and feet were amputated when a flu bug turned septic, was released from the hospital Wednesday.
The 19-year-old had been in the hospital since February after becoming critically ill with the flu, leading to additional medical issues and forcing doctors to amputate both his feet and a hand.
